you would need for the gyro just the bearing unit but for the compete brake you would need the cables capaleir and leaver.

Haha yeah I know what you mean. Yeah a lot, I live at the top of a big hill, so everytime I ride I have to brake down it, and I rode hard last year, a lot of braking, and still barely any paint gone. Wheel is so strong aswell, I nose dived a 4 or 5 foot drop to flat and my bars clanged under stress, checked the wheel and nothing, not so much as a mark. Rear I have landed on quite a lot of times and still no movement or dents at all.

Hi mate,

Right well I am, and have always used these pads

http://www.winstanleysbmx.com/product/20422/Ilegal_Brake_Pads

They are bascially the same as Eclat clear pads, or any clear pads really. The back wheel is intensely good, amazing hub, very good bearings, loud ratchet and very strong and light. I have had it for over a year now and there is barely any paint rubbed off, there is a tiny line about half a millimetre all the way round that is slightly worn but that is because I had a piece of grit in the pad. So aslong as you clean and check your pads every month or so you should be fine, it is an amazing wheel. No problems and would definately recommend it.
